About Project K-9 Hero
Project K-9 Hero is a national 501(c)3 headquartered in Whitwell, TN. As of 2024, they have assisted nearly 300 retired K-9s and their families. The average annual cost to care for a retired K-9 is $4,000. For three years in a row, they have averaged 88% program services, 6% fundraising costs, and just 6% administrative costs.
